The painting appears to be in fair condition with stretcher bar indentations around the frame perimeter, slight buckling of the canvas, discoloration and craquelure throughout. The painting was viewed under blacklight and exhibits scattered areas of inpainting throughout - predominately at the center of the canvas, the trunk of the left tree and underneath the figure. The frame appears to be in good condition with a 1 1/4 inch crack at the upper left and general wear and tear throughout.
