The painting appears to be in good condition with faint stretcher bar indentations at the left, upper and right sides, and very faint craquelure throughout the sky and mountain areas - the paint layer is stable. The painting was viewed under blacklight and exhibits the following areas of inpainting: a 6 inch by 6 inch line along the stretcher bars at the left and upper left side of the painting, 6 areas of inpainting along the upper frame edge ranging in size from 1/4 of an inch to 1/2 an inch, and two areas approximately 1 inch by 1 inch along the lower right stretcher bar area. The frame appears to be in very good condition.
