The painting appears to be in good condition with some abrasion in the upper left corner, rabbet rub along the right edge, a 1/8" x 1/8" chip of paint loss at the lower right, and a 1/8" x 3/16" area of paint loss located to the left of the standing figures hand. Painting has been examined under blacklight and does not show indication of inpainting, but does reveal the number 57 under the upper right signature. Frame appears to be in very good condition with small areas of flaking in the gold leaf.
