Overall this painting is in excellent condition. Under UV minor inpainting is evident, scattered on the left side and through the mountains, as well as a concentrated area in the sky in the upper right corner. There is also a crack repair extending vertically through the right side of the panel, which is also visible under UV. There is a very small area of loss in the upper left corner, and slight loss from possible frame rubbing on the rightmost edge. The gilt frame exhibits general wear and tear but is stable and otherwise in excellent condition. Signed lower right: MD Utah Sept 1933
