Condition
The San Francisco Chinatown a hundred years ago was the spiritual, if not actual, home to tens of thousands of Chinese who were forced to live in a segregated section of the city because of a tidal wave of racist hostility. The streets were vibrant with a colorful mix of elders and youth, merchants and customers, fortune tellers, Chinese and Non-Chinese.
