The uniqueness and artistry of the American Cowboy Saddle has a beauty all of it’s own. This piece was composed; using a turn of the century saddle made by S.D. Myres of Sweetwater, Texas and is now displayed in the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. I wanted this painting to reflect that “quiet time” before a show, where the gear is ready and the adrenaline is about to flow.
