The painting appears to be in good condition with a 1 inch by 1/2 inch area of paint loss in the clouds above the church. The painting has been examined under blacklight which did show some faint craquelure through the center of the painting (the paint layer is very stable) and does not show any indication of inpainting. The frame appears to be in very good condition.
