Condition
The painting appears to be in very good condition with light craquelure in the sky and lighter green foreground areas - the paint layer is very stable throughout. Rabbet rub at right edge. The painting was examined under blacklight and does exhibit scattered dots of inpainting at upper right, upper center, and frame edge left. There is a 1/2 inch spot of inpainting above the second horse head from the left. The frame appears to be in very good condition with minor wear and tear.
